Fast Mode is GeoSeer's streamlined geolocation option optimized for speed and broad coverage. While Agent Mode — our existing default — conducts a thorough, multi-step agentic investigation to pinpoint locations with high precision, Fast Mode trades some depth for dramatically faster turnaround.
Fast Mode typically processes your image in 5–10 seconds, making it ideal for high-volume workflows or any situation where a rapid estimate is more valuable than exhaustive analysis.
How to Switch Between Modes
Selecting your preferred mode is simple. In the context input box, you can now choose between Agent Mode and Fast Mode before submitting your image. Agent Mode remains the default for precision-focused investigations.
How Fast Mode Works
Fast Mode combines GeoSeer's proprietary geo-estimation model with our parallel agentic web search technology. Rather than running a sequential, multi-step investigation, Fast Mode dispatches searches in parallel — rapidly analyzing visual cues across multiple sources simultaneously — and synthesizes the results into a quick, confident location estimate.
This architecture gives Fast Mode a meaningful accuracy advantage over purely offline geo-estimation models, particularly for close-range estimation, where real-time web-sourced context can yield state-of-the-art results.
