We compare worldwide image geolocation on our custom dataset, adapted and expanded from Im2GPS. Accuracy @ 1 km measures how often the top prediction lands within one kilometre of the verified location. GeoSeer leads this comparison at 94%.
Methodology
- •Dataset: the same 62 images for every product, covering urban, rural, and indoor scenes with verified reference coordinates.
- •Metric: the percentage of top predictions within 1 km of the reference location; higher is better.
- •Modes: GeoSeer Agent; GeoAxis Global Search (High); Oceanir D3 Forensic; Picarta standard image search.
- •Scope: worldwide image searches; city-restricted retrieval and video or event analysis are outside this comparison.
- •Snapshot: October 14, 2026. These are rounded results on our custom set; broader performance may vary by scene and geography.
